Finally after six years in High School, six years of hard work all building up to six specific days contained within three weeks are finally over. As of the 12th of November my life begins.

I have to say its a huge relief to have all these years finally behind me. Those last couple of weeks had me both stressed and scared like no other time in my high school years. I just couldn't bear the idea that I could let six years of hard work, six years where I sacrificed art, learning the guitar, tennis and generally doing what pleased me, all come to nothing. Because of this I would like a bloody dog, desperate to improve in any way possible. Looking back at these years I really feel that I put to much emphasis on my schooling, that I probably could have eased off and put more time into myself. Now all that is left to do is hold my breath and hope that on the 14th of December my hard work pays off.

Now it's all over it's time to do what I want, to learn the things that are I feel would have importance in enabling me to enjoy life. Continuing to learn to play the guitar will be my main focus, mainly because I've really fallen in love with that idea to being able to perform wonders on six strings. That and trying my hand at art have always seemed like distance fantasies, things that would have to wait until my VCE was done with. Trust me it always felt like it would be an eternity before I would be able to do either of them. Now that I've got three months before uni starts, they don't seem nearly that far.

On a side note, i did celebrate the conclusion of my exams with an AWESOME Static X concert on the 12th. It was my first concert I'd been to and considering that I walked out with Tony Campos' pick, I'd say I had an fucken awesome time. If you ever wanted to see the kings of industrial metal or "Evil Disco" these guys are the ones to see.

P.S: Just a word out to all the Australian high school students, regardless of what certificate your getting, congratulations on making it this far, especially my friends Ayrania-chan and PocketXp.
